Prof. Petrică Vizureanu

Biography:

Petrică Vizureanu obtained an MSc and Ph.D. in heating equipment at the Gheorghe Asachi Technical University, Iasi, Romania, in 1992 and 1999, respectively. Dr. Vizureanu is currently a full professor and scientific supervisor in materials engineering at the same university and the appointed director of the Department of Technologies and Equipment for Materials Processing. He is an editor and guest editor for many journals and publishing houses. His research focuses on expert systems for heating system programming, computer-assisted design for heating equipment, heating equipment for materials processing, heat transfer, biomaterials, and geopolymers. He has published more than 250 papers in international journals and conference proceedings as well as over 40 books.

Prof. Sarawut Rimdusit

Biography:

Dr. Sarawut Rimdusit is a full professor of the Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. He received his master and doctoral degrees from the Department of Macromolecular Science and Engineering, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, USA in 1997 and 2000, respectively. He worked as a post-doctoral fellow under a Hitachi research fellowship in 2005 and 2008 at Toyohashi University and Technology and Monbusho research fellowship in 2003 at the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA, formerly ISAS). His research is concentrated on multicomponent polymeric systems based on polybenzoxazines and some network forming polymers. His recent research focuses on the use of polybenzoxazine alloys as functional materials including shape memory materials and thermoreversible light scattering polymers. He has published 1 book on polybenzoxazine alloys and composites (Springer), 10 book chapters in English, 4 book chapters in Japanese and more than 70 international papers related to the alloys and composites of polybenzoxazines.

Biography:

Associate Professor Dr Mainul Islam is an academic in Mechanical Engineering with specialisation in Composite Materials and current Discipline Lead (Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering) in the School of Engineering at the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ), Australia. He also belongs to the Centre for Future Materials at UniSQ for conducting research. He completed his PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Newcastle, Australia. He is a graduate and also former Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering of Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET), Bangladesh. He got Master degree in Structural Engineering from Kyushu University, Japan. He has been with UniSQ since 2008 just after completing PhD. His current research interests are in the areas of smart and sustainable composites and shape memory polymeric materials especially for infrastructure and biomedical applications. He has over 155 research publications based on his research outcomes. He has been able to secure a total of over $1.5M research funding jointly and individually during his academic career so far. He has supervised over 15 PhD students to their completion. He serves as Editorial Board member for several renowned journals and Technical Committee member for several international conferences. He is a Fellow (FIEAust) and Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) of Engineers Australia, and a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ). He is also a Certified Materials Professional (CMatP) and a Fellow (to be a Senior Fellow) of Advance Higher Education (FHEA) based in UK.

Biography:

Dr. LOW Siew Chun is an Associate Professor at the School of Chemical Engineering, Universiti Sains Malaysia. Her group is working on design and synthesis of polymeric membrane tailored toward membrane defouling, biomedical and wastewater application. They have particular interests on membrane synthesis and development, understanding the fundamental transport phenomena across the membrane, modelling studies of membrane structural properties, evaluate of membrane performance through immuno-chromatography tests and design of membrane morphology to mitigate the membrane fouling issue.

Biography:

Dr. G. Rajarajan was born in an academic family in Namakkal District, Tamil Nadu, India. He had his school education at Government Schools and got his B.Sc. Degree from Kandaswami Kandars' College, University of Madras, and M.Sc. Degree from Jamal Mohamed College, Bharathidasan University. He started his research career as a full-time scholar in the field of Acoustics and awarded Ph.D. Degree by Pondicherry University (Central University) in the year March 2007. He is having a total experience of 25 years & 1 month in Research & Development and his teaching career spans over 20 years & 7 months in leading Educational Institutions. He served as Head, Department of Physics, Department of Science & Humanities, Dean (Research & Development), IQAC – Director and Research Coordinator. He performed as Coordinator for Accreditations & Ranking (NAAC, NBA & NIRF) and Affiliation of Institutions. He assimilated excellent in-depth skills & familiarity in the preparation of SSR with Scoring for NAAC Accreditation & NIRF Ranking work.

He actively engaged in research activities as a recognized research supervisor by Anna University and Dravidian University. His research areas of interest include Crystal Growth, Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells, Thin Films, Nanomaterials, and Acoustics. Under his guidance, Six Research Scholars received their Ph. D. Degree from Anna University and two research scholars pursuing their research work in the field of crystal growth & nanomaterials. He published more than 48 Research Papers in International/National journals and presented 12 Papers in International Conferences & 72 Papers in National Conferences. Serving as Editorial Board Member & Reviewer of many National/International Journals and active Reviewer for many high impact factor International Journals published by Elsevier, Springer, RSC, and Taylor & Francis Publications. Filed/Received 3 Patents in the field of Crystal Growth. Authored one book entitled Engineering Physics I and edited 2 books as one of the Editor. 

He is a member of the following professional associations: Life Member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), Life Member of Ultrasonic Society of India (USI), Founding Member of Indian Magnetic Resonance Society (IMRS), Member of International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM) and recognized as Senior Member in South Asia Institute of Science and Engineering (SAISE). Recognized Member at Asian Council of Science Editors. He serving as Conference Chair, Technical Committee Member & Reviewer for International & National Conferences Organized by various Professional/Scientific Associations across the World. He convened and organized many Conferences, Workshops, and Symposia and delivered invited talks in National Conference and Symposia. He is also serving as a question paper setter for many Autonomous Colleges. He served as Public Relations Officer (PRO) and Social Media Activity In-Charge.

Published more than 150 research articles, and 15 Books/several book chapters in Scopus, Q-ratted journals with high impact factor, attended and presented papers in National and International Conferences as Key note speaker, distinguished speaker.
